When we talk about sound, what we can commonly relate to is when we communicate with one another; but when it comes to frequencies, transmissions, broadcast, radio-waves, signals, etc… it somehow is a bit more difficult to relate to. We make use of many more complex ways of sounds like; television, radio, phones, wi-fi, satellites, etc…although we might not understand the more complex use of technology, we openly use these things on a daily bases.
Our ancient ways of communication in its own way is just as complex; for although we simply speak and hear, we must understand that God has uniquely fashioned us – our words are seed, its spirit, and it is coded. The physical body can’t enter into the spiritual real, but things from the spiritual realm can enter into the physical realm. The only way things from the physical realm can enter into the spiritual realm is when it is translated from one form into another; like sound which can be translated over a micro-phone on one end and can be sounded out on another end through a speaker – so to our words are translated from the physical realm into the spiritual realm.
So how do we do this? 1st, it’s done by faith. Let’s see what the Amplified Bible says about faith: “Now faith is the assurance [the conviction / title deed] of things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see; and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]” [Heb.11:1/Ampl.V]. We need to speak faith-filled word into the spiritual world to draw or manifest those things into our physical realm.
Take for example your cell-phone; if you are to place it on a table and apply heat to it, it will start melting. Apply more heat and it will seemingly shrink into a melted ball of plastic and be useless to us. Continue to and even that ball of bubbly, smoky plastic will evaporate into seemingly nothing. To the physical senses, the cell-phone does not exist no longer; but what really happened is that when you applied heat and melted the phone, the particles that make up the phone started changing. The more heat you applied, the wider those particles and molecules started to move away from one another. The bully and smoky effect you witnessed was simply an evaporation of the phone’s molecules; and it evaporated into the air. All the molecules which made up that phone are now in a different form, even with the eye we can’t see it, but it still exists. This is the same with water; when the sun shines hot during the day, it causes the water to evaporate, it goes up into the atmosphere until it reach a cool temperature, forms into a cloud, and when the cloud is full it empties out back unto the earth.
Our words into the spiritual realm is like that; it evaporates even to a point where we can’t even remember saying certain things, but it always returns back unto us – it produces results. Isaiah 55 and verse 11 says: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” Whose word do you have in your mouth today?
I want us to focus a little on prayer; and prayer or the word pray simply translates as communication. Now we understand that when two people are speaking to one another, they are communicating. This is true when we speak about prayer in the Bible as well; however, prayer in the Bible doesn’t always mean that we are communicating with God [although that is of vital importance], but we can also communicate with ourselves, or with things. Let’s take a look at Mark 11 verse 24: “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” Ephesians 1:3 says that ‘God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places’; so what is it that you can ask God? Can you ask God for a car, or a house, or even money; what about healing or any other thing you may desire – for He said He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings; but where are these blessings? They are in the heavenlies… So how do we get it from the heavens [spiritual realm] to manifest in our physical realm? Let’s see Mark 11 verse 23 before answering that: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
Yes, faith is the key: Pray in Mark 11:24 is not referring to asking God; however, all things come from God and we will do good when we give the Lord the praise; but in this verse pray refers to communicate. When we communicate or call forth those things we desire; and believe that we receive them [by faith as we seen in Hebrews 11:1, we will have them. I don’t know what’s going on in your life today; and this might sound cold, but I don’t care – what I care about is that you get the Word of God in your spirit. Sometimes we pray a miss, because Christians developed this mentality of give me, give me, give me…God… We ask God for things He has already given us. We ought to know how to pray when we pray – we ought to know when to pray and for what to pray…
You are God’s mouthpiece here on earth! Like we have seen in Isaiah 55:11; ‘God’s Word that goes out will not return void, but shall produce that which it was send unto. How does God communicate with the world today? Through us!
- The Word is given to us to train / equip us…
- The Word is given to us so we can tell others…
- The Word is given to us so we may speak it and have results…
The written Word of God is ‘Logos’ [Greek], but it is the spoken Word, ‘Rhema’ [Greek] that contains the power of God. Don’t get me wrong, the written Word of God is God’s Word and it’s Holy; but as long as it remains written and not sounded out through us, it will have little to no effect. We must verbally speak the Word in all types of prayer, we must speak the Word over ourselves, and we must speak the Word to others. The Word is prophetic and must be spoken in order to be effective. How else will the lost world hear if we don’t speak it; they not going to read our Bible… Speak the Word and it will produce results!
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” [Isa.55:11]. Now that you are born again you are one with God through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit; He is the fullness of God in bodily form [Col.2:9]. The Holy Spirit in you will lay dormant until you decide to lead on His understanding and help to do things; and when you do decide to turn to Him, then you become God’s mouthpiece. In Genesis 1 we read that: ‘In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. [v.2] And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” Notice what happened here; the Spirit of God came down upon the waters, He was incubating the earth, He was waiting for the Word to come out of God’s mouth so that He can get to work. Then from day 1 the Holy Spirit responded to God’s Word and created the heavens, the earth and all that is in it. But let’s look at verse 26 – “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.”
This is a remarkable truth: And being born again, born of God, that’s our reality as God’s children. King David had this revelation concerning the new creation, saying by revelation: ‘I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes” [Psa.82:6-7]. God made us in His image and in His likeness; and as a born again Christian, we have the Holy Spirit ready to work with us if we are willing.
What is words?
- Words are seed
- Words are sound
- Words are spiritual
Understand this about prayer; silent prayers does not work; if they did according to Mark 11 verse 24 you will have better results – Think of it, this is a principle things; and even Jesus followed this principle. No where in the Bible is it recorded that any man or women prayed what some Christian today call a prayer of the heart. Every recorded prayer in the Bible was sounded out, no matter how soft, but words was uttered and they produced results. There’s power in your spoken words and so too in the spoken Word of God [reference on the power of words – James 3:3-5].
Let us take a biblical look at the power the SoundCode of the Word
Joshua 6:20 – The walls of Jericho was destroyed to the ground with the right sound
2 Chronicles 20:21 – 3 mighty armies killed one another in confusion after King Josaphat marched out to meet them in the valley, placing singers in the front-line by revelation to sing praise unto God
Ezekiel 37 – God instructs His prophet in the valley of dry bones to speak life over the dry bones; flesh formed and Ezekiel breath life into the bodies of the once dead and they came alive again…
They Key: mix Faith with the Word of God = Results
Romans 10:17 tells us this principle clearing by saying: “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” The problem is that we want to read the Bible like a newspaper or magazine; we don’t study the Word of God the way we ought to, because if we do then we will have the results the Word speaks of. But once again, the key is: Even when we study the Word of God, we ought to sound it out so we can hear with our own ears the Word that comes out of our mouths – it contains a SoundCode for prosperity and good success. God is not a man that He should lie, so God is not going to tell us to do something and then we end up with little or no results. See what Joshua 1:8 says concerning this: “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Understand what you just read with me: God gives the instruction that we must ‘meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein’, accompanied by instructing us to speak the Word: ‘This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth…’ Why? So that when we do this, we will make our way prosperous, and we shall have good success. God has given us the recipe for prosperity and good success as His children.
Galatians 5 verse 6 says: ‘Faith worketh by love’; and 2 Corinthians 5:7 tells us: ‘We walk by faith, not by sight.’ Faith in the Word of God, that when we study the Word of God our faith will be increased and when we apply this faith we have from God it will produce the things it speaks of. Mark 16:17-18 says that if we believe: ‘these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.’
I have see folks wanting to apply this verse, but because they fail to follow the instruction of the Word, they have all sorts of trouble following them and they can’t understand why. The Word is clear in in the above verses: ‘In Jesus’name we shall cast out devils…’; and then some goes and lay hands on the demon possessed. The code in casting devils out is in the Word and in the Name Jesus – do you believe that?
“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” [James 1:25]. This is a principle as well as a promise – We are to look into God’s Word and not forget what it tells us; then when we apply God’s Word we will be blessed because we doing right in the sight of God. There is salvation in all things; be it a relationship or where folks you know may still be living in the world not being born again, it might be your finances, your health, etc… The principle which brought you into God’s light and salvation applies to all other aspects of life too: ‘For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation’ [Rom.10:10]. The Greek word confess here is to do something in consent or agreement. We are to practice the Word of God in agreement with God; that is applying faith and gaining salvation in all things. Salvation has been given by God in grace unto us. There’s nothing we can do to obtain what God has already given, but to receive it we must believe and confess it – that is the soundcode of the Born Again Life.
2 Corinthians 5:17 – “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he IS a new creature: old things ARE passed away; behold, all things ARE become new”
1 John 4:4 – “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”
1 John 4:17 – “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”
